Privacy Policy.
How we collect, use, and protect your information. Effective October 31, 2026.
Last updated October 31, 2026.
Who we are
This website, spokeandweal.com, is operated by Weal Management LLC, the company behind the Spoke & Weal salons (“Spoke & Weal”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website and our salons, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Questions go to info@spokeandweal.com.
What we collect
- Booking details. When you schedule online, our booking provider, Boulevard, collects your name, email address, phone number, appointment details and, if you choose to save one, a payment card. Boulevard processes payments; we never see your full card number.
- Contact details. When you email or call a salon, apply for a role through our careers address, or register for a professional class through Corsizio, we receive what you send us: your name, contact details and the content of your message or application.
- Website usage. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record how the site is used: pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and anonymous session replays with typed text masked. We do not combine this with your name or booking record.
- Cookies. Small files and browser storage described in the Cookies section below.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the website.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, remind you about and manage your appointments.
- To respond to inquiries, applications and class registrations, and to provide guest service.
- To send occasional updates from the salon, only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it and see which pages help guests book.
- To keep the website and our systems secure, and to meet legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary cookies keep the site and the booking window working and are always on. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with the link, also found in the footer of every page. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal sent by some browsers as a decline. Because there is no settled standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not respond to those, but the cookie settings and Global Privacy Control give you the same choice. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working, though some features may behave differently.
Google and Microsoft, as our analytics providers, may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites and services that use their tools, under their own privacy policies. We do not allow any third party to collect information on this site for advertising.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| sw_consent_v1 (browser storage) | spokeandweal.com | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. | 12 months |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Tells returning visits apart so page and booking counts are accurate. Only set if you accept analytics. | Up to 2 years |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Anonymous heatmaps and session replays that show how pages are used. Typed text is masked. Only set if you accept analytics. | Up to 1 year |
| Booking window cookies | Boulevard (joinblvd.com) | Keep your booking session working when you open Schedule Online. Necessary for booking. Boulevard also runs its own usage analytics inside the booking window, under its own privacy policy. | Per Boulevard's policy |
| Map cookies | Google Maps | Set by the embedded map on each salon page. | Per Google's policy |
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who need it to run the salon and the website, each under its own privacy terms:
- Boulevard for online booking, appointment reminders and payments.
- Google for website analytics and the maps embedded on salon pages.
- Microsoft Clarity for anonymous website usage analytics.
- Corsizio for registration to our professional education classes.
- Our hosting provider, which serves the website and keeps standard server logs for security.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the safety of our guests and staff, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can unsubscribe from salon emails using the link in any message. Write to info@spokeandweal.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law allows, usually 45 days.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request its deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither); to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it); and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.
Residents of Texas and other US states
Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and a growing number of states give their residents similar rights: to confirm whether we process your personal data and access it, to correct or delete it, to obtain a copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data or profiling that produces legal effects, none of which we do. To exercise a right, email info@spokeandweal.com. We respond within 45 days and may ask you to verify your identity. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response with the word “Appeal”; we will answer within 60 days and, if we still decline, tell you how to contact the attorney general of your state.
Visitors from the EEA, UK and other regions
If data protection law in your region gives you additional rights, such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or a complaint to a supervisory authority, you can exercise them through the same address. Where we rely on consent, for example for analytics cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep it
Booking and guest records are kept for as long as you are a guest of the salon and for as long as the law requires afterwards. Correspondence and applications are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form; identifiers are retained for no longer than the periods in the cookie table.
How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted connection, access to guest records is limited to staff who need it, and our providers are chosen for their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information with care.
Children
The website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Appointments for minors are made by a parent or guardian.
Links to other sites
The site links to Instagram, Facebook and other services we do not operate. Their privacy policies, not this one, apply there.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year, and whenever the tools we use or the laws that apply to us change, so that it stays accurate and current. When we change it we update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
